UV - Monitor UVT 16 |
|
The monitor is designed for installation on a control panel. There is a connection plate on the rear of the device for all the necessary connections. The front plate contains the five keypads used in operating the apparatus, three status LEDs and a two-line alphanumeric display screen from which metered values and other information can be read. The readings to be shown can be pre-selected from the menu and/or called up by pressing the keypads. These pads are also used to make the settings and to program the functions of the monitor. It is no longer necessary to have the additional complication of an add-on computer for the programming, required with the earlier monitor. All the functions of the previous model are essentially the same as those of the predecessor, so that the old version can be replaced with the new one, which offers the following improvements:
-
Two-line alphanumeric display screen, making it easier to read off the various circuit situations and use them for evaluation. The display is illuminated when in active use.
-
Both operation and programming make use of the keys on the front panel. There is no need to attach a computer. Costs are saved, as service personnel do not need to be equipped with laptops.
-
Unauthorised users can be excluded from operation and/or programming. There is a two-level password system to give access (1) to those operating the plant (partial access) and (2) to the plant manufacturer's service engineers (full access).
-
Compatible with all conventional sensors, without requiring modification.
-
KOption available of additional sensor for rate of flow.
-
Calibration against the sensor reading simple to carry out in menu without any tools.
-
Transparent, modular programming that can be adapted to customer requirements.
-
Installation depth has been reduced.
-
IP65 protection integral, no need for additional shield.
-
Additional functions available on request: internal memory to log events, possibility of attaching extra sensors (e.g. for temperature, conductivity and pH), programming of a RS232 interface according customer requests.
